TOP 5
5. PARTYNEXTDOOR & Drake – $ome $exy $ongs 4 U (17k)

$ome $exy $ongs 4 U is like that quarterback who doesn’t usually throw for 200 yards a game, but because he plays every match while others sit out, he ends up with a 2,000-yard season. This album has consistently hovered around spots 4 and 5 on this top 5 list, despite fluctuations rivaling Zion Williamson’s weight, steadily racking up sales. Now it’s officially platinum-certified—almost effortlessly. Well done.
4. NBA YoungBoy – MASA (19k)

Just yesterday, NBA YoungBoy dropped his third album of the year, Project 219, teaming up with Boosie Badazz—all three releases coming in just the past four months. You can call him deranged, violent, or unchained, but never lazy. That said, it seems like MASA is still the fan favorite from his recent projects, continuing to sell strong. Now that the MASA tour has wrapped, it’ll be interesting to see if that momentum keeps up.
3. Drake – Take Care (20k)

Happy 14th Birthday to Drake’s best album ever, Take Care! Interestingly, this Grammy-winning project has been making moves lately—earning a diamond certification from the RIAA, re-entering the Billboard charts, and hitting its biggest streaming year yet. Maybe Drake made it for us weasels to vibe to in 2025.
2. G Herbo – Lil Herb (25k)

Chances are, this will be the only time you see this album on the list—but I’m glad it made an appearance. G Herbo has been grinding hard these past few weeks, and Lil Herb feels like the payoff. Packed with hard-hitting tracks, solid features, and explosive beats, it’s easily one of my favorite Herbo projects.
1. Cardi B – AM I THE DRAMA? (29k)

First and foremost, congratulations to Cardi B and Stefon Diggs on the arrival of their new child. From the videos I’ve seen, she seems to be in a great place. On top of that, her album AM I THE DRAMA? continues to perform exceptionally well and is on track to be one of the year’s top-selling records. I wouldn’t be surprised if it earns a Grammy nomination—though, thanks to the way the Grammys operate, we’ll have to wait until 2027 to see if it actually takes home an award.
