Taylor Swift extends her historic run as “The Fate of Ophelia” holds at #1 for a sixth week, while sombr earns his first Hot 100 Top 10 with “Back to Friends” on this week’s Billboard Hot 100.
As we head towards Thanksgiving week, the Billboard Hot 100 has delivered another week of historic runs and fresh faces breaking into the upper tier of the chart. At the top, Taylor Swift’s dominance continues to be the story of the season.
“The Fate of Ophelia” spends a sixth consecutive week at #1, holding steady and further cementing Swift’s latest moment of chart history. With this run, she becomes the first artist ever to debut a song and album at #1 on both the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 — and hold those positions for the first six weeks. It’s another remarkable achievement in a career defined by them.
Below her, HUNTR/X & the KPop Demon Hunters Cast remain locked at #2 with “Golden”, a track that previously enjoyed an eight-week reign at #1. Meanwhile, Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” keeps its grip on #3 in its 40th charting week — an impressive feat for a song that already earned a ten-week run at the top.
At #4, Olivia Dean continues her rise as “Man I Need” hits a new peak. Taylor Swift takes another slot in the Top 5 with “Opalite” at #5, while Justin Bieber’s “DAISIES” holds at #6.
Further down the list, longtime climber Leon Thomas hits a new peak with “Mutt” at #7, followed by Kehlani’s “Folded” at #8 and Morgan Wallen’s “I Got Better” at #9.
The biggest breakthrough of the week comes at #10, where sombr earns his first-ever Hot 100 Top 10 entry with “Back to Friends,” now in its 33rd week on the chart and reaching a new peak.
With Taylor Swift extending her historic streak and new artists breaking into the elite ranks, this week’s Hot 100 offers a perfect snapshot of where mainstream music is heading — a blend of superstar stability and rising talent ready to make their mark.
