FERG Enters a New Era With “Strictly For Da Streetz Vol. 1” — Drops Friday

FERG has been acting like a brand-new person since changing his rap name. Makes sense, though.

FERG — formerly known as A$AP Ferg — has officially shed the A$AP tag and is fully stepping into his new identity. After releasing DAROLD last year, a project that leaned heavily into his introspective side, he’s circling back with something much rowdier and more experimental: Strictly For Da Streetz Vol. 1, arriving this Friday.

The album is stacked with big-name collaborators, including Denzel Curry, Gucci Mane, Lil B, French Montana, Awich, Big Boss Vette, and Hunter BDM, signaling that FERG is building his new era with a diverse roster around him. All of these artists are capable of keeping up with his ass-kicking energy, so that alone should get you excited.

Early singles like “BIG DAWG,” “P.O.L.O.,” and “FERG STRONG” have already showcased wild energy and left-field experimentation — a clear sign that FERG wants to expand beyond expectations and lean into the unfiltered, unpredictable side of his creativity.

We’ll see what the legend of this new persona becomes when Strictly For Da Streetz Vol. 1 officially hits the streets.
