Is Lil Uzi Vert officially back?
Lil Uzi Vert’s “What You Saying” has officially reached #1 on the US Spotify rap chart, while also climbing to a new peak at #3 on the US Apple Music hip-hop chart. The achievement signals that his current run is genuinely connecting, not just making noise online. Momentum like this doesn’t happen by accident, and Uzi seems fully tapped back into his instincts.
Over the past few weeks, he’s quietly rebuilt hype by dropping music directly on his YouTube channel, which now boasts an absurd 10.1 million subscribers. Tracks like “Chanel Boy,” “Relevant,” and later “Regular” began circulating fast across social media, laying the groundwork for something bigger. When “What You Saying” arrived on the 22nd, it took off almost immediately, already passing 3.4 million streams.
Sonically, the track leans into Uzi’s experimental side, fusing Jersey Club energy with his familiar flex-heavy delivery. Indila, the featured guest, steals the show, adding texture that elevates the record beyond a standard rap drop.
Out of everything from this recent stretch, “What You Saying” stands tallest. It’s energetic, weird in the right ways, and confident. More than anything, it feels like proof that when Uzi locks in, he still knows how to dominate the conversation.
