Ye Confirms New Album “BULLY” During Surprise Appearance at Deon Cole’s Show

Have we ever seen Kanye West act this shy?

Ye made a surprise appearance at Deon Cole’s comedy show last night, where he casually confirmed that his new album is on the way. The moment was brief and understated, but it instantly caught attention, especially given how little he’s publicly spoken about music in recent months.

Earlier this year, Ye dominated headlines for very different reasons. He went on a highly publicized social media spree that included attacks on fellow artists, various groups, and institutions, drawing widespread backlash. Since then, however, the past few months have marked a quieter stretch focused on reconciliation and rebuilding. He met with a rabbi to address and apologize for his antisemitic remarks and has made visible efforts to cool tensions publicly.

Musically, he’s also begun re-emerging. Ye recently appeared onstage with Travis Scott and is reportedly preparing for upcoming performances in Mexico and Italy. All signs point toward a gradual return rather than an explosive rollout.

During the clip from Deon Cole’s show, Ye barely spoke, confirming the album almost shyly. It was an unusual sight, but arguably a welcome one. Compared to chaos, restraint feels like progress — and BULLY now feels closer than ever.
