Billboard 200: Zach Bryan Opens 2026 at the Summit as With “Heaven On Top” Debuts at No. 1

“With Heaven On Top” becomes the first album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2026.

The Billboard 200 has its first new ruler of 2026. Zach Bryan’s With Heaven On Top storms in at No. 1 with 134,000 equivalent album units, fueled by a towering 130.32 million on-demand streams and 6,000 in pure sales. The feat crowns Bryan with the first No. 1 album debut of the year, a milestone that sets the early tone for 2026’s chart race.

Close behind, Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem slides to No. 2 with 82,000 units, extending its long-haul dominance to 4.49 million total units since release. The album’s résumé remains ironclad, highlighted by a 13-week reign at No. 1 that still echoes across the chart.

Holding steady at No. 3, Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving posts 64,000 units in its second week at peak, continuing a quiet but confident ascent that has now amassed 737,000 units overall. Taylor Swift follows at No. 4 as The Life of A Showgirl dips one spot with 63,000 units, adding to a colossal 5.74 million total and a past 12-week stay at the summit.

At No. 5, the Kpop Demon Hunters soundtrack remains a streaming juggernaut for Netflix, earning 56,000 units and pushing its lifetime tally to 2.54 million after a two-week run at No. 1.

The week’s other notable debut belongs to The Kid LAROI. BEFORE I FORGET enters at No. 6 with 41,000 units, powered by 30.83 million on-demand streams and a healthy 11,000 pure sales. The project secures LAROI his second Top 10 album on the Billboard 200, reinforcing his staying power as he continues to evolve beyond breakout status.

Rounding out the Top 10, SZA’s SOS slips to No. 7 with 40,000 units and an eye-popping 8.68 million total since release. Tate McRae’s So Close To What lands at No. 8 with 40,000 units, while Morgan Wallen doubles up at No. 9 as One Thing At A Time adds another 36,000 units to its massive 10.19 million total and 19 weeks at No. 1. Sabrina Carpenter closes the bracket at No. 10, with Man’s Best Friend earning 33,000 units as it continues its post-peak glide.

With Zach Bryan planting the first flag of 2026 atop the Billboard 200, the year opens with a clear message. Country music has come to play this year.
