How close can you get to a #1 album without actually touching it?
ENHYPEN is once again proving that their fanbase does not play around. Their new album THE SIN : VANISH is projected to debut at #2 on the Billboard 200 with over 122,000 first-week units, including a jaw-dropping 113,000 pure sales. Even crazier, it’s trailing the projected #1 album by just 0.3% (A$AP Rocky’s “Don’t Be Dumb”), which is about as razor-thin as it gets.
This continues a very strong Billboard 200 run for the group. Their 2022 release MANIFESTO : DAY 1 debuted at #6, marking their first top 10 entry and a major breakthrough moment. In 2023, DARK BLOOD pushed things even further with a #4 debut, followed by ORANGE BLOOD, which also landed inside the top 5. With THE SIN : VANISH, ENHYPEN is hovering right at the doorstep of their first #1 album.
The project features 11 tracks, with “Knife” leading the streaming charge, followed closely by “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and “Lost Island.” As expected, the rollout leaned heavily into collector culture, with multiple versions dedicated to each member, along with Japanese, English, and Chinese editions. I don’t have a favorite version; I like them all!
With numbers like these, is ENHYPEN officially entering elite, chart-dominating territory?
