That Sis Dope’s “DLMNM” Introduces a Fearless New Voice

Rating: 5 out of 5.

The rising singer delivers a dramatic, vulnerable debut that feels painfully real.

If we could place bets on singers, I’m putting That Sis Dope on every parlay I’ve got.

Her future feels bright for a few key reasons: she has a genuinely strong voice, a long background in songwriting (which almost always shows), and a clear attention to how she carefully packages her music for the world.

Her debut single on streaming platforms, “DLMNM,” is an emotional gut-punch. The track is driven by slow-burning, cinematic production and a passionate, striking vocal performance that grabs you from the start. Lyrically, she dives into the disheveled feeling of being left by someone you truly loved, unpacking the questions that linger, the fragments of affection that remain, and the desperation to fix what’s already slipping away.

Yes, the song is relatable, but what really stands out is how vulnerable it feels. There’s no hiding behind polish or restraint here. “DLMNM” sounds like someone letting it all spill out in real time, and that honesty makes it hit harder than expected.

That Sis Dope might be the best artist name I’ve heard in years. She deserves props simply because of it.
