Kid Cudi & BNYX Team Up on “Everywhere I Go (Remind Me)”

Rating: 2 out of 5.

A promising collab weighed down by lazy choices and muted execution.

BNYX and Kid Cudi linking up SHOULD feel like a guaranteed vibe. On paper, it’s a match made in outer space: BNYX’s glossy, futuristic production paired with Cudi’s emotional, galaxy-brained delivery. Their new single, “Everywhere I Go (Remind Me),” definitely lives in that universe—but it never quite takes off.

Production-wise, BNYX gives us something bouncy and robotic, clearly meant to make your shoulders move a little, but the beat doesn’t knock the way it should. For a producer who’s shown he can rattle speakers, this feels oddly restrained.

Cudi’s vocal performance is fine, but that’s kind of the issue. He pours emotion into it, sure, but it sounds a bit uninspired; like he’s on autopilot rather than fully locked in. You’ll still catch moments you like because, well, it’s Kid Cudi. That comes with the territory.

Then there’s the chorus. I hate that s**t. Flipping Röyksopp’s “Remind Me” like this feels lazy, especially when the original is so iconic. It just doesn’t justify its existence.

Overall, I won’t skip it if it comes on, but for a BNYX x Cudi collab, this feels way too casually thrown together.
