Lil Yachty and Draft Day Go Back and Forth on “Stylistics”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Lil Yachty and Draft Day trade bars as “It’s Us Vol. 2” inches closer.

It’s looking like it’s going to be a very Concrete Boys 2026. By the end of this month, they will drop their new mixtape, It’s Us Vol. 2. What should you expect from it? Rebellious flows, punchy lyrics, and very unique beats (I’ve been enjoying the beats Yachty’s been rapping over a lot more lately). Today, we got another preview with the track “Stylistics.”

On “Stylistics,” which was created during a session with PlaqueboyMax, Lil Yachty, and Draft Day go back and forth over a vintage-sounding beat, complete with a fire vocal chop in the background. They deliver bars that highlight their competitive side just as much as their playa sides. While Yachty comes through with his usual cool demeanor, clever punchlines, and hard-to-catch flow, Draft Day turns up the energy, bringing a punch that complements the production extremely well. Their chemistry really shines here.

All in all, this is a kick-ass listen that’s absolutely worth your time.
