I saw a crazy stat the other day. Someone said BossMan Dlow’s music is played in clubs more than most rappers right now. Honestly, every time I go to a club, which isn’t often these days, I hear DJs spinning his s**t, so this stat isn’t that far-fetched, as I think about it. Today, the Florida rapper returned with a new single called “Act Like Money.” Surprisingly, I wouldn’t call it a club banger.

“Act Like Money” features one of the weirdest beats I’ve heard this year. It leans into a jive turkey, Steve Harvey-style vibe that I can’t say I love. No need to worry, BossMan still sounds like his usual self. He raps about running up checks, bossing up, and having so much money that he almost dozes off while counting it. The chorus is catchy, even if the rest of the track didn’t fully click for me. I for damn sure don’t believe we will see women twerking to this s**t…
