Navah Sea & Maudsley Lock In on “Laugh About It”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

A seamless collaboration built on chemistry and vulnerability.

There is nothing better in music than when an artist and producer truly lock in. That kind of chemistry, the ability to bounce ideas off one another in real time, almost always leads to a higher quality listen.

With that in mind, Navah Sea and Maudsley have teamed up for a new collaborative EP titled Laugh About It, and their strengths mesh seamlessly. One of the clear standouts is the title track.

“Laugh About It” closes the EP on a vulnerable note. Driven by plucky guitar licks, hypnotic textures, and a calm, soothing atmosphere, the production sets a reflective tone. Over it, Navah Sea and Maudsley deliver unfiltered, slightly rebellious, soul-clenching vocals as they reflect on self-discovery and the hope for a more peaceful path forward. The lyrics feel heartfelt, the chorus is memorable, and the overall vibe is refreshingly organic.
