Luh Tyler Shows a Slightly Softer Side on “My Boo”

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Luh Tyler looks no more than 14 in the picture above.

Lil Wayne, one of the greatest rappers of all time, once famously said, “Love’s in the air, so I put on my gas mask.” When I first heard that line, it confirmed to me that rappers aren’t big fans of Valentine’s Day. However, someone who seems to be embracing it fully is Florida rapper Luh Tyler. Usually known for his playa talk, in his latest single, “My Boo,” he pays homage to a woman who managed to grab his cold-ass heart.

For the tough guys, do not worry, this track is not completely sweet. It features a cold instrumental that players everywhere can appreciate. While Tyler shows love to his woman by speaking on her looks and their chemistry, he also sends a few shots at his foes, making sure no one thinks he has gone soft on them (pause). As expected, Tyler delivers his verses in his laid-back style, rapping like his blood pressure is dangerously low while still flowing effortlessly.

It always makes me laugh when rappers call their girls either “eaters” or “fine s**t.”
