The newest weekly streaming numbers are in from Spotify, and it’s clear who owned the weekend.
Harry Styles dominated both the U.S. and Global debut charts with his brand-new album KISS ALL THE TIME. DISCO, OCCASIONALLY. — often shortened by fans to KATTDO. The project made a massive first impression, landing at the top of Spotify’s most streamed debut albums and songs of the week.
After nearly four years since Harry’s House, fans were more than ready for new music, and the response has been immediate.
KISS ALL THE TIME. DISCO, OCCASIONALLY. marks the beginning of a brand-new era for Harry. The album leans into vibrant pop textures while still holding onto the emotional honesty that has defined much of his solo work.
From the moment the album was announced — with mysterious posters appearing in major cities — fans knew something big was coming. That excitement translated directly into streams once the project finally dropped.
In my own review of the album, what stood out most was how playful and expressive the record feels. There’s a sense of freedom throughout the project. The production pulls from disco and bright pop influences, while Harry’s songwriting still carries the introspective, romantic storytelling listeners have come to expect from him.
Tracks like “Aperture,” which recently became his third No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, already proved the album has serious hit potential. But beyond the chart success, the project also feels like a natural artistic progression — polished, confident, and intentionally different from his previous work.
Harry’s fanbase, often referred to as Harries, showed up in full force this weekend. After months of speculation, teaser campaigns, and countdowns, the album’s debut numbers reflect just how much anticipation had built around the release.
The strong streaming performance also adds fuel to projections that the album could have a massive debut on the Billboard 200. Early predictions from industry trackers already suggested huge first-week numbers, and this opening streaming momentum certainly supports that.
Harry topping both the U.S. and global Spotify debut charts shows the scale of his reach. Few artists can command that level of attention simultaneously across multiple markets, but Harry’s combination of charisma, songwriting, and loyal fan support continues to make him one of pop’s biggest stars.
With a new era officially underway and the Together, Together tour already generating buzz, this album rollout is just getting started.
And if this first weekend is any indication, KISS ALL THE TIME. DISCO, OCCASIONALLY. might be one of the defining pop releases of the year.
