I’m not even gonna lie — when I saw Teezo Touchdown and Ludacris on the same track, I paused for a second like… now wait a minute.

But y’all? It WORKED.

Ludacris came in with that timeless flow — like he never left. Smooth, confident, locked in. And Teezo? He added that R&B flavor that gave the song texture. That little bit of sauce that made it feel modern and playful at the same time.

The track is sensual but still lighthearted. I was literally singing along, giggling, just vibing through it. It’s one of those songs that doesn’t take itself too seriously, but still sounds really well put together.

4. AAA

This track is smooth in a completely different way.

The production leans more melodic and R&B-driven, and Sid Sriram absolutely floats on it. His vocals are soft, airy, and just… pretty. That’s really the best word for it.

There’s something really alluring about the way this song moves. The background runs, the layering, the tone — it all comes together to create this dreamy, almost hypnotic vibe. It feels romantic without being over-the-top.

He’s serenading, and I’m not even mad at it. It works.

3. OFG!

Yeah… J. Cole absolutely ate this.

No breaks. No hesitation. Just bar after bar after bar.

His flow feels relentless here — like he didn’t even think about stopping to breathe. And the crazy part? The bars actually land. Every single one. It’s one of those performances where you find yourself leaning in, trying to catch everything he’s saying in real time.

This is peak Cole in that “I’m just rapping because I can” bag. And honestly? That’s when he’s the most dangerous.

2. MAJOR

This might be the best Swae Lee performance I’ve heard in a minute.

From the very beginning, the track sets a tone with that opening monologue. It immediately pulls you in. Then the vocals come in, and everything just clicks. The production, the emotion, the pacing — it all feels intentional.

It’s reflective, a little dark, a little bittersweet. But there’s also growth here. Optimism. A sense of moving forward, even after everything.

It honestly felt like the perfect closer. Vulnerable, honest, and just enough emotion to leave you thinking after the album ends.

1. Standing O

Okay — the song is already catchy on its own. But when Monaleo came in? I WAS SAT. Immediately.

She slid on this track like it was nothing. Effortless. Confident. Nasty — respectfully. And I heard every single word. I love it when an artist knows exactly who they are and leans all the way into it. There’s no hesitation here, no second-guessing — just straight confidence.

And yes… this song is about butt. Let’s not overcomplicate it.

But it works because it’s fun, it’s bold, and it’s delivered with personality. Everyone on the track matches that energy too, which makes the whole thing feel cohesive instead of gimmicky. It’s a certified “run it back” type of song.

Producer albums are always interesting to me, because they really feel like a collection of moments rather than one single story.

And that’s exactly what R3SET delivers. Every track feels different — different flows, different vibes, different moods — but the production keeps everything grounded.

That’s what makes a producer album work.

You’ve got R&B. You’ve got rap. You’ve got tracks that lean almost gospel, others that feel more pop, some that are straight-up club records. And just when you think you’ve figured out the direction, the next song switches it up completely.

It keeps you on your toes in the best way.

What I really enjoy about this project is hearing artists step into different pockets. You hear their personalities, their preferences, their range — all over Mike WiLL’s production. It’s less about one narrative and more about showcasing talent across the board.

The album is hard-hitting, versatile, and packed with standout moments. Some songs are immediate playlist adds, while others grow on you after a couple listens.

Overall, R3SET is a solid, star-studded project that reminds you why producer albums can be so fun to sit with. There’s always something new to catch on the next listen.

And honestly? A few of these tracks went straight to my playlist. Immediately.
