Momo Boyd might just be the new Fefe Dobson.
Momentum is quietly building for Momo Boyd. Her appearance on Baby Keem’s “Good Flirts” put more eyes on her, but “She’s A Sweetheart” shows she doesn’t need a co-sign to stand out. Coming from Infinity Song, the Roc Nation-signed group known for their organic rise, Boyd is now stepping forward with a sound that feels personal and fully her own.
The track leans into soft, acoustic-driven production with a light rock influence, creating a reflective, almost therapeutic atmosphere. It’s the kind of song that encourages stillness rather than movement. Vocally, Momo strikes a balance between soothing and emotionally charged, letting her slightly raspy tone glide over the instrumental. Lyrically, she dives into the struggles of being a people-pleaser, giving endlessly while being taken for granted, and slowly recognizing the cost of that role.
When I was in my weirdo phase in high school, this was the kind of music I listened (Everybody went through their own weirdo phase, right?).
