Ye proves his star power with massive sold-out performances in Los Angeles.
For someone who’s spent the last few years buried in controversy, Ye just reminded everyone why he’s still a force. Two sold-out nights at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles brought in a massive $33 million, with Friday alone generating $18 million. That’s not just a good weekend, that’s historic territory.
The shows weren’t just about numbers. Ye turned the stadium into a full-scale spectacle, with names like Rod Wave and Kai Cenat in attendance, while bringing out heavy hitters for unforgettable moments. Lauryn Hill delivered a standout performance of “All Falls Down,” blending it with a medley of her own classics, while Travis Scott shook the building with a high-energy run through “FE!N.”
Beyond the star power, there were personal moments that added weight. Ye closed the show by walking out with Bianca Censori and also shared the stage with his daughter, North West, giving the performance a more human touch. Of course, he didn’t forget the hits, running through staples like “Flashing Lights” and “STRONGER.”
Controversy aside, this felt like a statement. Ye isn’t just back, he’s still capable of dominating on the biggest stage possible.
