Reese LAFLARE & Bryson Tiller Deliver Smooth Energy on “So What Now?”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Jersey club energy meets melodic finesse on “So What Now?”.

Reese LAFLARE, who I originally thought was from Chicago but is actually rooted in Atlanta, is back with some fresh heat: a new track called “So What Now?” with the one and only Bryson Tiller (Is it glazing to say “the one and only” these days?). Their styles aren’t supposed to mix, but, b*tch, they do.

The production leans into jersey club rhythms, packed with stomps and high-energy bounce, while layering in dreamy, almost glossy textures that soften the edges. It’s a contrast that works surprisingly well, giving the track both club appeal and replay value.

Reese comes through with a confident performance, dropping bars about spoiling his chick while riding the beat with a natural, almost effortless flow. Bryson Tiller steps in with the melodic assist, delivering a passionate hook that glides across the production. Both artists subtly channel the melodic influence of “Crossroads,” adding a nostalgic twist.

Is it crazy to say that Reese LAFLARE sounds a little like Yung Joc on this track?
