THREE/4 (EP)

Spark I aM’

Spark I aM’ drops a body-of-work that features gritty beats and complex bars.

If I’m going to crown a rapper as the best thing since sliced bread, they have to have the following things: Great confidence and meaningful lyrics. Spark I aM’ has both things I just mentioned, in addition to flows that are abominable.

Three/4 is very powerful. From the moment you press play on the project, you are greeted to a song in “From The Basement” that boasts motivational lyrics and trill vibes. From there, things only get triller and more dynamic. On “Euro Step,” Spark hits us with tricky flows and competitive bars, on “Bat Signal,” he plays his hood’s Batman, and on “Numbers Talk,” he pays homage to some folks that he lost in the last couple of years. All in all, Three/4 is a short, but sweet body-of-work that almost serves as a rap how-to-guide for up-and-coming MCs.
