Eric Bellinger and Wale continue their great chemistry on ‘GOAT 2.0’.
In my opinion, Wale is at his best when he makes crooner music. I feel like he is a dude that loves his women, so when he makes a song dedicated to one, that’s when he’s in his element. On this particular track, he does minimal singing, instead hammering down a few sweet words about his one and only’s.
Eric Bellinger gives us something catchy on this song, but he can never overcome Wale’s presence. Even though it is actually his song, it simply feels like Wale’s.
