Statik Selektah – Ain’t A Damn Thang Change (Ft. G-Eazy, Joey Bada$$ & Enisa) (Review & Stream)

I’m here for a smooth record like this!

‘Ain’t a Damn Thang Change’ is soulful, old school sounding, and very lyrical. Over this lovely beat that reminds me of the ghetto beautifulness of Brooklyn, each rapper drops a verse about their steady come-up throughout the years. The punchlines that each artist drops on their respective verses are formidable, as each artist lets loose over the conscience vibes that is given off by both the beat and Enisa on the hook.

Bragging and boasting about not changing is the cool thing to say, but realistically, you know damn well these n—as changed throughout the years! For one, I’m sure these n—as ain’t eating ramen noodles no more….
