New project reviews from: Mila J, Hood Rich Pablo Juan & a bunch of random rap dudes.

MILA J – JANUARY 2018 (8/10)

Mila J has been working pretty hard these last couple of months, releasing four projects in the last 2 years. Each project has featured the California singer spilling her heart and soul into a few tracks, doing her best to show some authentic passion. On ‘January 18,’ Mila gives us six tracks revolving around her being the ultimate ex-girlfriend, dropping some soulful music that has her unapologetically spilling her guts throughout. The EP is pretty short, which means listening to it won’t hurt your time.

HOOD RICH PABLO JUAN – RICH HOOD (6/10)

First off, how awesome is Hood Rich Pablo Juan’s name? It literally sounds like both the made up name and real name of a Mexican boulevard. Anyway, the Atlanta rapper drops something that I would consider catered for the streets with ‘Rich Hood!’ You get trap feels throughout, as Pablo Juan keeps it gutter in his raps from start to finish. If you like the MoneyBagg Yo’s of the world, you will certainly find this project at the minimum entertaining.

DIZZY WRIGHT, JARREN BENTON, EMILIO ROJAS, AUDIO PUSH, DEMRICK and REEZY – ONE WEEK NOTICE (8.4/10)

Thank GOD for copy and paste! Dizzy Wright, Jarren Benton, Emilio Rojas, Audio Push, Demrick and Reezy have decided to collaborate for this 13 track project titled, “One Week Notice,” and for rap fans, it’s an absolute treat! The good thing about this group of rappers is that they are all hungry, which means from song to song you get these hollow bars from each artist that sorta undermines all the things that the famous rappers of today want to accomplish. With rappers like Eminem and D12 on the downhill spiral, it’s fun to hear a few rappers that can end up being the new wave of them lyrically.
