Jarel Portman’s organically raw talents grace the alternative rock scene in his latest single “Runaway Blues.”

Bouncing back and forth between San Francisco, CA and Atlanta, GA exposed Jarel Portman to a multitude of cultures and sounds across the United States. Although a bi-coastal lifestyle may have its setbacks, that is not the case for Portman. He is able to draw from his experiences and incorporate that into his music, giving it a unique all-encompassing sound.

“Runaway Blues” is a hit track off of his self-released album, Supersonic. The chorus of this song is catchy and memorable with a strong hint of blues courtesy of the electric guitar featured on the instrumentals. Towards the end of the song, melodious harmonization lightens the vibe leaving you feeling hopeful after an otherwise melancholy “blues” track.
