The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar link up for the futuristic “Pray For Me.”
Both the Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar have taken their music to another stratosphere, so much so that I believe it takes a special kind of artist to get them excited to collaborate these days. Luckily for us, they crossed paths for this inspirational track, giving us something that I think fits the heroic feel of the Black Panther movie. With The Weeknd delivering this impassioned hook, Kendrick lets the world know about his relentlessness to succeed on his verse, killin’ em with powerful words and a steady flow. All in all, the track is as perfect as I thought it would be.
I’m predicting this Black Panther soundtrack being better than most Hip Hop albums released in the last 4 years.
