Don’t you just love a foot-tapping rock song like “Knowledge” that you can dance belligerently to?
Dynamo’s are a Los Angeles based band that focuses on all the great ideals of traditional Rock music when they create tunes. In their latest effort, “Knowledge,” the band was able to provide us with this ‘coming of-age’ rock ballad that relies heavily on both explosiveness and roaring vocals.
You know what I love most about this song? The reliance both the instrumentalists and the lead singer (Nadia) have on each other. With Nadia’s candid lyrics dominating majority of this song, I felt it was imperative that there was an instrumental that allowed her powerful words to bloom — she received just that, as her fellow band members was able to set her up with this heavy-hitting beat filled with electrifying guitar-play and lots of boom! On the flip side, the instrumental needed someone that can take full command of it, which Nadia did, delivering this spirited performance that will give you the shivers even in the summertime. Altogether, the band shows great chemistry on this song, something listeners will certainly feel the moment they press play.
