Fetty Wap – The Weekend (G-Mix) (Review & Stream)

There is no such thing as a ‘G-Mix’ for a song like this…

Much like everyone else in the industry, Fetty Wap is infatuated with SZA’s slow ballad “the Weekend” track, so much so that he did his own version of it. As expected, our hero sounds like he’s stepped on a whole bunch of cicadas when he sings, doing his best to play the hopeless romantic, but ultimately ends up sounding hopeless.

There’s a lane for Fetty, it’s just a bit ragged right now.

OVERALL RATING (3.7/5)
