Annie Fitzgerald plays a majestic rocker in “Black and Blue”
There are so many reasons to love Annie Fitzgerald! First and foremost, she is a proud mother that overcame postpartum depression just a few years ago, finding a way to return to the music scene even stronger than ever. Secondly, she is an outstanding singer/songwriter that is capable of dabbling in a variety of music genres from rock to pop. “Black and Blue” takes advantage of all three aspects mentioned, as the Minnesota native was able to create this absolute gem that showcases a little bit of vulnerability content-wise, an outstanding vocal performance throughout, and some really great guitar play. Overall, I think the tune is nothing short of amazing!
