Lil B – My Spirit (Review & Stream)

Lil B tries to show the world that his bars aren’t all that laughable in “Money In My Spirit.”

You know what Lil B’s rapping on this song reminds me of? A baller that has a phenomenal first step, but can’t finish at the rim. I feel like he has the confidence, the swagger and appeal of a good rapper, but his mechanics are off. At times, he sounds off-beat, forces his bars and spews out lazy lines. With that being said, it’s a step up from what I’ve heard from him in the past.

Lil B swears he’s a Californian prophet.
