Russ has been getting his Nas on as of late.
This song has a pretty interesting combination of music. In one sense, it’s lonely sounding, but in another, it has some tough assness to it on the verses. Nonetheless, the best part about it is Russ’ content: It revolves around relationship abuse, and as expected, Russ doesn’t hold back on the topic, giving his two cent on how a woman should be treated. I like the message, but think the hook is a bit annoying.
