Reason is a dude with a sick ass rap name, some impressive waves in his hair and lots of aggression. For at least two of these reasons, I can see why Kendrick and his people were interested in him. In “The Soul,” the new T.D.E. signee proves that they made the right decision, going ham over this soulful instrumental. Aside from that, he spews out some impressive bars that are punchline heavy, and even gives listeners an introduction to where he came from.
Doesn’t Reason sound like a blend between Tee Grizzley and Nipsey Hussle when he raps? (That’s definitely a good thing)
