Nicki Minaj isn’t done dominating the week.
As you may know, Nicki Minaj dropped her “Queen” album two days ago, and in a nutshell, I think it’s pretty decent. Today, our big booty hero decided to give us an unreleased record from the nineteen track project called “Sorry,” and it features one of her former baes in Nas. Together, they were able to create this colorful reggae/rap tune that is adorable as hell. On the hook and first verse, Nicki brings out her crooner side, literally coming across like a jilted teenager. On the second verse, she’s gutter and rugged, aggressively pronouncing herself as taken. As for Nas, he plays a ghetto Romeo on his verse, letting the world know how he’s made things work with one of the baddest chicks in the world. Overall, I think the track is a nice little summer time cut, but something that doesn’t quite fit the tone of “Queen.”
Nas has to be one of the coolest cats of all time.
