H.E.R. moves exactly how I would if I was famous.
H.E.R.’s super stardom continues to rise at a really fast pace. With that rise has to come the pressure to switch-up styles in favor of something the world will like, but lucky for us, she hasn’t. In “Let’s Gets Away,” the low-key Californian gives us something silky smooth and mellow, which I believe falls in line with her overall personality. The song is pretty much an exact cover of Aretha Franklin’s timeless track, but just a bit silkier and persuasive when it comes to romanticism.
H.E.R. and Bryson Tiller are cut from the same anti-social cloth.
