The Kid LAROI Channels His Inner Timberlake on “HOW DOES IT FEEL?”

The Kid LAROI’s versatility is nuts.

If you look up The Kid LAROI on Wikipedia, the first label you’ll see is “rapper.” And while he’s had moments where he truly spits—like on “KIDS ARE GROWING UP”—these days, he’s sounding a whole lot more like the second coming of Justin Timberlake. His latest track, “HOW DOES IT FEEL?”, makes that comparison louder than ever.

Driven by a slick, Neptunes-style dance beat—think early 2000s Justified meets Nelly Furtado with a dash of Ray J (if you know, you know)—the song feels like it belongs at a dance party on Mars. And honestly, that’s a compliment. It’s refreshing to hear more artists tapping back into that nostalgic, futuristic funk.

LAROI delivers one of his more dynamic singing performances here. He blends a laidback, almost talk-singing style with falsettos and sly vocal inflections, all in an effort to woo a girl who thinks she’s too cool to let loose. The vibe is light, fun, and made for movement.

Will this track shake the walls of a bando? Probably not. But will it soundtrack every prom, homecoming, and teen movie montage this year? Absolutely.

The Kid LAROI is only 21, guys.
