Future done started dabbling in the POP TART CHARTS! (In my Martin Lawrence voice)
I’m not going to lie, I like this sound for Future! For someone who is artistic as him, why put yourself in a box? Anyway, “Take You Back” is a pretty high-octane pop track that features some passionate back-up singers and some feel-good vibes. As far as Hendrix’s contributions, it’s pretty impressive, as he delivers when it comes to melody, meaningful lyrics centered around appreciating his main chick, and most important, daring vocals (At times, he channels his inner Michael Jackson on this song, and it’s not that bad). All in all, I f**k with the track!
This song sounds like it was written for Maroon 5.
