Kevin Gates always comes through with music that reaches my soul.
Fans of Kevin Gates should be excited, because today, he announced that “Luca Brasi 3” is coming in two weeks! With that being said, the Baton Rouge native also decided to release two singles off of the project, and in the first one, “Great Man,” he shows us his emotional side once again. No, he doesn’t try to sing or anything on this track, instead, he delivers some heartfelt lyrics revolving around homies he lost, fake friends that are lurking in the shadows, and enduring all the trials and tribulations going on in his life to become an inspirational figure. I like how raw his bars are, and absolutely love the way he delivers them using this numbing approach.
