G-Eazy & YG Link Up For “Endless Summer Freestyle” (Review & Stream)

Don’t sleep on these two Cali rappers, folks!

G-Eazy and YG have each had two really good years, and in “Endless Summer Freestyle,” they remind us all about it. Over this cartoonish instrumental, both of our heroes spit some aggressive bars about a variety of topics such as racism, flossing on competition and having to grind to make it to the top. While G-Eazy shows off a myriad of flows on his part, YG is a lot more loose on his, blurting out s**t and even taking restroom breaks in the middle of his verse. Nonetheless, the collaboration between both artists is dope to me, and I definitely hope for more from them (Together, of course).

I’m tired of rappers calling things freestyles that clearly aren’t.
