Plies And Kevin Gates Unite For “All Thee Above” (Review & Stream)

As I think about it, Kevin Gates is like the modern day Plies when it comes to making hood love songs.

It is no secret that Kevin Gates and Plies are in love, because in “All Thee Above,” they sound like they are ready to give their respective partners the world. With the instrumental to the track giving off this high-octane feel, Gates delivers an exhilarating hook about spoiling his chick, while both him and Plies go back and forth about indulging in their women’s physical features just as much as their mental on their verses. Overall, I love the rawness of the track, and when it comes to energy, there’s an abundance of it.

This is the first love song that has me sweating after I listened to it.
