Cardi B is raw on this joint.
If I were picking person of the year, Cardi B will be one of my nominees. She’s seen music success, television success, and to top it off, recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. With all that going on, I can see why the Bronx, NY native decided to go on a bit of a hiatus. Thankfully, she’s back, and she brought a hot ass track called “Money” with her.
“Money” is tough. It has the same explosive nature as “Bodak Yellow,” with our voluptuous hero altering her aggression levels in many different ways, hitting us with catchy hooks and rapping over this bass boomin’ instrumental that aims to get the stripper’s booty’s to move without them involuntarily. Lyrically, Cardi talks about getting to the money by any means, citing the impact it will have on her personal life all around. All in all, you get a version of the rapper that is uncut on this song, and I love every second of it.
This is going to be a hit, guys.
