XXXTENTACION & Lil Pump Unite With Maluma And Swae Lee For “Arms Around You” (Review & Stream)

I don’t know the purpose of this song, but I’ll take it.

XXXTENTACION has been in the news quite a bit despite no longer being here. He has featured on other artists’ songs, and it feels like stories are being made about him every other day. Today, a song featuring him and Lil Pump hit the net, and fortunately/unfortunately, it shows just how much talent the Florida rapper had. Over this Caribbean/Pop-inspired instrumental, X sings passionately about the need to have a woman holding on to him. From there, Pump, Swae Lee and Maluma each add some melodic contributions to the fray, adding the final touches to a sensual-sounding track I find very bizarre.

I always find it astonishing when I hear a song by someone who has passed in which they fit-in better than the ones that are actually alive and well on it.
