The Diplomats Link Up With Belly For “On God” (Review & Stream)

I can easily see Belly being a member of The Diplomats.

The Diplomats are closer than they’ve ever been, and their last two songs certainly prove it. Not only have they shown great chemistry with one another on them, but they’ve also been on the same page when it comes to having each other’s back in their content. In “On GOD,” these sentiments ring even louder.

Over this inky instrumental by Murda Beatz, each member in the Diplomats rap about doing any and everything for their homies, including taking shots at foes and validating each other’s hood ties. While it’s refreshing to hear their voices again, I definitely don’t f**k with the played out flows each of them used on their respective verses. Also, I enjoy Belly’s heavily melodic hook, but we gon’ need a verse from him on this joint!

I hate to say it, but The Diplomats are making safe records… I’ma need them to step it up…
