Kyle & Lil Yachty Link Up Once More For “Hey Julie” (Review & Stream)

Can Lil Yachty & Kyle go 2/2?

I am not afraid at all to admit that I love Kyle and Lil Yachty’s “iSpy” record from last year. It is kiddy, but also has these vibes to it that gets me hyped up every time. Today, the duo decided to relive those times by dropping a brand new single called “Hey Julie.” No, it doesn’t have the same magic their prior hit had, but it does give off the same fun-loving elements. Rapping-wise, Kyle gets jiggy with s**t, f**king around with several flows and gaudy punchlines, while Yachty pumps listeners up with this catchy hook and sly ass verse that has its savage moments. All in all, I don’t think the song is bad, but I also don’t think it’s special.
