Bryson Tiller Announces “THE VICES,”Releasing August 8

Let the Bryson Tiller comeback tour begin!

Bryson Tiller is entering a new era—and he’s coming with bars. The Louisville native just announced that THE VICES, the first installment of his upcoming double album S O L A C E & THE VICES, is set to drop on August 8th. Fans have long awaited a more rap-forward project from Tiller, and it looks like he’s finally delivering.

Described as “very rap heavy,” THE VICES promises to showcase a grittier, more confident version of Tiller, leaning less on the moody trap-soul that made him a household name and more on sharp flows and lyrical finesse (think “Rambo”). And he’s not doing it alone—the project features an impressive lineup of guest appearances from BOSSMAN DLOW, Rick Ross, T-Pain, Plies, Bun B, Luh Tyler, and BabyDrill. It’s a mix that blends Southern legends, rising stars, and hip-hop versatility, suggesting this will be Tiller’s most dynamic and collaborative release yet.

The production lineup is just as stacked, with Charlie Heat, Teddy Walton, Hitmaka, and Gravez helping bring this rap-heavy vision to life.

While S O L A C E remains shrouded in mystery, the release of THE VICES hints at a conceptual split: two sides of Tiller, two moods, one full-circle moment. The good news? He’s more than capable of pulling it off.

Will Bryson ever top TRAPSOUL? Maybe not. But with this double release, he’s giving himself two real chances to try.

Go ahead and put that PTO in for August 8.
