The ZZips Put A Chill Down Your Spine In “Vivid” (Review & Stream)

“Vivid” reminds you how powerful music can be.

The ZZips are a talented two-man band from London that has a knack for making music that reaches the soul. In their latest album, “The Beat Goes On,” they were able to gift us with a fourteen track EP that features what I believe to be truly magical music. One of my favorite tracks off of the project is “Vivid” — A less than three minute gem that is powered by this piano-heavy instrumental that does a great job of keeping you captivated. As for the vocals you get from frontman James Butler, they are both soothing and emotional — characteristics I believe bring out the importance of the overall message at hand.

I promised myself I wasn’t going to cry today! 🙁
