Dreezy Releases RIP Aretha (Review & Stream)

Aretha Franklin is confused as hell up there in heaven right now.

I’m not going to lie, if this song wasn’t fire, I would call it disrespectful. “RIP Aretha” is a ratchet banger that has Dreezy bragging about her money, ruthless sex practices and lack of respect for competition. Throughout, the Chicago MC spits bars with a helluva flow, infusing some solid punchlines and cocky swagger into the fray. With that being said, what does the song have to do with Aretha Franklin, right? Not a damn thing other than word-play utilizing her last name.

Dreezy, I like the song, but I wish you would change that title.
