Soulja Boy & Smooky Margielaa Link Up For “Ball Like Kobe”

Ball like Jason Smith would’ve been a little more appropriate for this song.

Having clout doesn’t quite equal having good music. Yes, Soulja Boy has had this renaissance-like comeback as of late, but it hasn’t quite translated to hot s**t musically. However, in “Ball Like Kobe,” Soulja does drop something listenable, gifting us with a banger that is catchy, decent rapping-wise, and most importantly, electrifying. Lyrically, both Young Draco and featured guest Smooky Margielaa left a lot to be desired, but it’s all good, I didn’t mind their uselessness in the midst of decent music.

      OVERALL RATING (3/5)
