Ace Hood’s the first rapper in hip-hop history to be publicly saved.
Ace Hood has been on a musical rampage these last couple of weeks. It seems every time you look up, he’s dropping a new passionate cut. In “We Ball,” his latest offering, the former We The Best rapper took things up a notch, gifting us with this introspective track that has him rapping tough over this guitar-heavy trap instrumental. On some real s**t, you’ll love how Hood talks about growth on this song, but more than anything, you’ll be impressed with his ability to switch between gritty rapper and legit crooner throughout (It’s like the musical equivalent of a light switch).
Ace Hood is way too hungry to be on the sideline. Let that man release his album, Joe!

Quincy is the creator of Ratings Game Music. He loves writing about music, taking long walks on beaches, and spaghetti that fights him back.
