How far Saweetie can go as an artist should be determined in her upcoming EP. In the meantime, she released two new singles today that I think showcases a few things she does well; “Emotional” is one of them.
“Emotional” is powered by this instrumental that sounds like a mix between “In My Feelings” by Drake and “Crazy In Love” by Beyonce. Over this instrumental, Saweetie and featured guest Quavo go back and forth on some unhealthy/obsessive love s**t, sounding like a couple that is on a road to lustful destruction.
