Halsey’s ceiling is mega pop-star, but if she crashes and burns, I don’t think she will mind. In “Nightmare,” her latest single, the Los Angeles based singer practically says f**k you to her naysayers, blessing us with this tumultuous jam that has elements of authentic rock, modern day pop and old school caroling. Personally, I love how untamed she sounds both lyrically and vocally on the song, especially considering the fact she was catching some slack in the media a couple of months ago.
Halsey has one of the most unique voices I’ve ever heard.
