88 Keys Drops The Mac Miller & Sia Assisted “That’s Life”

Mac Miller is still dropping knowledge from up top…

Mac Miller’s untimely death has been hard to take, but lucky for us, there is plenty of music floating around from him to keep us entertained. Today, one of the Pittsburgh native’s most intricate tracks hit the net, and it features plenty of soulfulness and honest bars.

“That’s Life” is powered by this revamped version of Willie Hutch’s infamous “I Choose You” instrumental. Over this instrumental, Mac Miller practically spills his guts out about love, lust and everything in-between. What I love most about this track is that Mac spits bars in this very stripped down way, coming across like a regular-degular individual that struggles with what everyone else struggles with in life. Where the emotion, passion and soul comes in is on Sia’s part at the end in which she sings merrily and harmonizes beautifully.

Mac was a very special artist. I’m mad it took me this long to realize this.
