Carlos Cortez is clearly winning at life.
Carlos Cortez is a trap R&B artist that shines by being his unapologetic/experimental self (Honestly, we should all try approaching life this same exact way). In “Karats,” those sentiments I just mentioned never felt truer, as Carlos gifts us with a short, but sweet track that features trap elements, fearless singing, and talk of luxurious items and bad women you can only dream of obtaining!
I love “Karats!” I enjoy its rhythm, I f**k with the melody attached to it, and I like how Carlos timidly stands tall throughout the song. While I believe the track is meant for flossing, there is also this isolated feel to it that practically encourages rebelliousness and creative thoughts (Deep, right?).
Make sure you give “Karats” a shot at the top of the page!

Quincy is the creator of Ratings Game Music. He loves writing about music, taking long walks on beaches, and spaghetti that fights him back.
